minutes for the March 19th meeting: two corrections:

staff member in training as a substitute for financial manager

commercial "building" should be commercial "lighting"

motion to accept with corrections made by Alfred, seconded by Carol

Patron Code of Conduct: motion by Rhonda and seconded by Alfred to ban all smoking devices and tobacco use on library property

Adult Study areas, two tables near reference, limited to 12; use for overflow situation; behavior rules apply as other rooms

no charge for room usage by non-profits and govt. agencies

display of firearms permitted only by law enforcement personnel remains in Policy

congratulations to Esmie Rodgers, Circ Clerk, for achieving Librarian Certification Level 6 which qualifies for Adult Reference Service Clerk

the annual building and fire inspection has been passed; smoke alarms are all functioning

Summer Reading first week in June; Themes:

window shades will be installed in mid-May

the insurance reappraisal will result in an increase of premium; reappraisal fees of $300 will not be taken from CUTPL Operating Fund, but will be paid from the O & R Fund of the Building Corp

Park Board: Rhonda Reinhold

more information is needed on the proposed storage area on the east end near Papa’s

$2500 will be given toward the comprehensive plan
