Review & Approval of the November Register of Claims

Director's Report: Colleen McCarty

Centennial Celebration began December 6 for the public; it was well attended; Jill and Dana did a fine job preparing for it; a Memory Book is available for anyone who has a CUTPL memory to share

Tax forms will be available 1-1-15, copying forms will be done at half-price at $.10/pg

beginning 2-8-15 Volunteer Income Tax Assistance will be here to help anyone who needs help at no cost. This will be offered weekly through tax season.

there is a free "taxi" service to the library, but must be arranged thru Marshall Co Enrichment Center in Plymouth

these volunteers will file electronically and will also have forms to be used

Colleen requests a total of $200 to renew membership in the IN Library Federation for herself, Jill and Dana

a resolution already exists for CUTPL to pay these dues

Evergreen 2.7 upgrade coming up over the Christmas break, it is mostly for the circulation desk and catalogers

55 surveys on patron experiences here at our library, this will continue until the end of the month

equipment has started to arrive for the removal of the "sail" the plaza doors will be closed to traffic from now until Friday; temporary exit will be from the Carnegie meeting room

new hire, Joyce Hanselman as a circulation clerk for an average of 14 hours a week

the winter newsletter is now available

Park Board: Rhonda Reinhold, absent, no report

request for a fee waiver for the "Stampin' Up" card class

a form needs to be presented annually requesting waiver of the $10/hr. rental fee for a for-profit educational or cultural group's use of meeting rooms. Board approved the fee waiver for 2015

resentation of the 2015 schedule for Library Board meetings

presentation of the holiday closing dates for CUTPL

honoring Retiring Board Treasurer Alfred Nyby

outstanding approach with Excel and PowerPoint financial presentations

established an excellent working relationship with the Director and Board

revolutionized the way the budget was addressed and the way it could forecast expenditures and income; so many expenditures have been reduced since he began in 2008

Friends of the Library presented Alfred with a gift a certificate of achievement and appreciation was presented to Alfred by the Director
