Members: Karen Boland, Bill Cleavenger, Tom Curtis, Paul Liette, Melanie Robertson, Alfred Nyby, Flannery Posner

motion to accept the minutes by Tom and seconded by Paul

MSC Alfred abstained

the appointing board has received a letter of resignation from Rhonda Reinhold, as a CUTPL Board member

it was moved by Tom and seconded by Paul to name Alfred Nyby as treasurer

MSC Alfred abstained

Treasurer’s Report: given by the director, Colleen

Review & Approval of the May 2016 Register of Claims

motion to accept the May Register by Karen and seconded by Paul

Finance Committee: Colleen

continuing to look at software to replace CompuTrain, which has been sold to Boyce

Facility Committee: Bill

need to replace Rhonda on the committee

ppointment of Alfred to the committee

Dave McCarty as "go to" guy

CUTPL Envelope and Mechanical Studies (need to contact each to clarify phase/prices)

Troyer Group



motion by Bill and seconded by Tom to contact Alliance for more details for on their services for recommending companies to do envelope and mechanical studies $3500.00 limit

Long-Range Plan: survey closes at the end of June

some "easy fixes" identified by respondents, e.g., need for more trash cans outside

Summer Reading 70 children and 65 adults participating

Stuffed Animal Sleep Over (no children) slide show of "animals" in different places and different activities thru the night

"Appy" hour Thursday 6-23-16, teens and adults are invited to share their favorite Apps on their device from 4:00 to 5:00

The summer newsletter is available online, in hard copy, Culver Coffee and the Visitors Center

volunteers assist in the following departments:

Children’s, Tech Services, IT, Reference

the director will be noting the total number of volunteer hours we use each month for your information

online services went down 26 hours, 6-20 4PM to 6-21 until 6 PM

Unfinished Business:

AED training: tabled until next meeting

Indiana Main Street Program: Colleen attended meeting

Program will operate under 2nd Century’s 501 (c) (3) status

local government officials may serve only as ex-officio members; as library personnel we are not permitted to fundraise for other groups
