Review & Approval of the October 2017 Allowance of Accounts Payable Vouchers

motion to accept by Bill C, and seconded by Bill G


Financial Committee:

2018 Hiring Wage Schedule recommended by the committee presented

moved by Paul and seconded by Bill G to accept


2018 Salary Schedule was presented with a 2% increase to staff who qualify

2018 Health Insurance Coverage was presented with a 12.2% increase to staff who qualify

Policy Committee: Colleen

Update on Waggoner, Irwin & Scheele's review of our Policy Manual

referring Salary review from Waggoner, Irwin & Scheele's review to the finance committee because of an extra fee for that service

Director's Report: Colleen McCarty

Volunteer hours for October was 12.2

participated in CMA's leadership project, 11-6-17; concerning citizenship in business and Government

December calendar:

2nd children ages 3-6 will present a Christmas play at 11:00 am, with refreshments to follow provided by the FOL

9th the library Holiday Open House

9:00 children will go caroling to Millers Merry Manor

10 AM Santa will visit

at noon Beth Pare will be playing the harp

1:00 pm Sharon Coffey will play the piano

again the FOL will provide refreshments

the genealogy group continues to grow under the leadership of Janet Winrotte; she has recently attended a copyright workshop for digitization purposes

we have acquired a special computer table from the Plymouth library at no charge; it is now in use

Unfinished Business:

Janet will be begin meeting with the Antiquarian & Historical Society and CUTH re digitization of local documents of historical interest

Coding Club will continue to meet in November

CMA & CUTPL children's librarian in contact w/CoderDojoINorg to better publicize the program

HVAC systems-IMEG Corp Proposal update

should be received by us within the next few weeks

New Business:

Seller's was the only bidder for the 2017-2018 snow removal contract; it was the same as 2016-2017

moved by Bill C and seconded by Bill G to accept the bid


2018 cleaning contract by Green Cleaning was the only bid, for the same pricing as 2017

motion by Bill G and seconded by Bill C to accept


One boiler needs to be repaired/replaced and pump #3 needs replacement; as our HVAC contract firm, McGrath is being contacted for costs

suggestion by Bill C. that more joint committees meet in work sessions in 2018
