Friends of the Culver-Union Twp. Public Library

CUTPL Friends of the Library Logo

Friends of the Library Groups are a special team of volunteers that enable Public Libraries to do great things. Seasonal booksales, programming, and extra "edu-tainment" events are just a few things that our friends promote and sponsor at The Culver-Union Twp. Public Library.

News

This is a busy year for the Friends since it is the Centennial of the CUTPL this year. We will be helping with many of the planned events throughout the year.

Friends meetings are at 1 p.m., the first Monday of the month. Join us and find out more. Be a library card holder and a Friend.

In January, the library had a Club Fair and the Friends had cookies, coffee and hot cocoa for those who came. The Friends also had a book sale that same day.

On April 15th, the Friends had a luncheon for the library Staff and the Library Board members.

The Friends first book sale of 2015 was on Friday, April 24th and Saturday, April 25th from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., in the Carnegie Room, in the lower level of the library.

Starting May 16th, the Friends will have a Book Sale every Saturday until August 29th from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the Carnegie Room. It is a great time to pick up books for your summer reading at the beach or while you are vacationing.

Book donations are always welcome and can be left at the circulation desk during library hours.
